ARROW Connecting Rods are drop-forged steel, they are normalized, quenched, and tempered. All connecting rods are checked fully for cracks, machining, and forging defects. We use 10.9-grade bolts and nuts for tractor connecting rods and 12.9-grade bolts and nuts for automobiles and trucks. The big end bores of all the connecting rods are honed and mirror-finished. Our Quality Check for these connecting rods consists of checking the center-to-center distance, straightness, parallelism, alignment, ovality, twist, and bend.

The connecting rods are often made from steel alloys like 42CrMo4, C-70, EN-8D, SAE 1141, etc. Connecting rods are often drop-forged out of a steel alloy. Connecting rods for performance vehicles are also manufactured using Aluminum and titanium are both materials. We also carry out the NQT process on the forging of connecting rods. We use bush made from Bi-metal (SAE 1010/SAE 792), PB-2, and silicon brass as per the application and also provide a specific material as per the requirement of the client. Our Quality Control Engineers have all updated instruments like Height Gauge, Crack Detection System, Surface Roughness Tester, Hardness Tester, Bore Gauges Micrometers, and Verniers to check the quality of the con rods.
